Everyone makes snowmen and Santa Claus-themed treats for Christmas, so how about trying your hand at snowflake cookies? To create this dessert you're going to have to make sure you have your artist cap on. These treats are a little tricky to construct.
In order to get the points on the flakes your cookie batter must be placed into a plastic piping bag and squeezed out into the spindly designs on a baking sheet. Once the mixture is baked, a marshmallow topping is squeezed onto the top to create a fluffy, snow-like design. Before your gooey marshmallow gets a chance to dry, dust a healthy topping of course white sugar onto your snowflake cookies. This will give them a sort of sparkling crystalline appearance.
