The Maison Margiela smartphone holster may just be the next brilliant idea that keeps people from constantly checking and staring at their phones. First shown at an event at Paris Couture Week, these unique smartphone holsters have the unique ability to wrap around an arm or ankle, thanks to two arms and straps that keep everything in place. The holster has only been shown to hold an iPhone in its current state but the modular design of the holster should be capable of accommodating plenty of smartphones of varying sizes.
Designed by John Galliano for Maison Margiela, these holsters have been described as part of a collection that features "an image of nomadic glamour" featuring "neo-digital natives." The hope was to create a fashionable piece that also serves a function in a non-gimmicky way.
