Long-time collaborators Philips and Conex Intelligent Technology debuted new smart lock technology at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this year. The range of smart locks includes the DDL902-MVP, the DDL505, the DDL611, the Philips Sync, the DDL801, and the Philips 5000 Series Palm Vein Recognition Smart Lock, Each one of these home security solutions aims to accommodate different user security needs and weather condition. The DDL902-MVP smart lock technology, for instance, boasts 360-degree monitoring via three high-resolution cameras, as well as palm vein and facial recognition. The DDL505, on the other hand, was designed "for extreme temperatures with IP66 waterproof and dustproof capabilities." It is noteworthy to mention that the Philips 5000 Series Palm Vein Recognition Smart Lock received the CES® 2025 Innovation Award as an 'Honoree.'
