Justin Lam — December 7, 2018 — Autos
Known simply as Smart Control Technology, this new intelligent control system helps owners of mobiles homes and trailers. Created by Airstream, Smart Control Technology gives owners the ability to control the lights, AC, awning, and other camper features from a smartphone. The system will also give users quick access to the status of propane tanks and how much water is stored in the trailer.
Helping connect all these metrics and smart tech to Smart Control Technology is an 'Airstream Connected,' AT&T modem. In addition to connecting the Smart Control Technology together, the modem also offers GPS to locate the trailer when away from the vehicle. Finally, the service can be added to almost all Airstream trailers for just $25 a month or $360 flat for unlimited data.
