The Mobileshadow is the dreamy creation of French designer Stéphanie Marin of Smarin. The organic forms can be hung in clusters, from the ceiling to divide a space, or in a window frame. The resulting shadows cast and produced by the overlapping layers make for a relaxing, meditative environment.
The cloud-like designs come in seven different shapes and are made with either an ultra-sheer silk material or, for a more light-filtering effect, 100% linen. They can be displayed either indoors or out.
Just imagine yourself lying under a group of these on a breezy day, visualizing butterflies or bunnies in the clouds.
Marin is also the designer who has brought us the Livingstones collection of seating. You can read about them in the related posts below.
