Moscow-based architecture and urban design firm Meganom will be designing a super slim skyscraper for Midtown Manhattan in New York City. The slender tower, which has been named 262 Fifth Avenue, will be 1,001 feet tall and according to the design team "unlike anything else built in New York."
The slim skyscraper will be a luxurious residential building, taking up space near Madison Square Park, and will contain 12 stories of limestone at its base to support its height. It will be wrapped in aluminum and glass to make for an aesthetically pleasing addition to Manhattan's iconic skyline.
The forward-thinking and contemporary design will allow this tower to include several 'firsts' with regards to architecture and environmental sustainability.
