Picture the very near future, picture finding yourself in a city away from home, picture yourself without a hotel reservation. Now picture yourself not sweating it. This is a very real possibilty thanks to the Arch Group’s bed in a box known as SLEEPBOX.
The vision behind SLEEPBOX is that the urban infrastructure should be as comfortable as possible for those of us within the modern metropolis. The plan is for these boxes--which are equipped with TV, WiFi, and linens that are changed automatically--to be placed in airports, railroad stations and shopping centers. Hopefully one will also be placed just outside of my office.
