Apple recently announced this its newest version of OS X will include Siri integration. Since Siri's debut, the virtual assistant has become a familiar voice on the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and even Apple TV. Now the invisible aide will be available for desktop users seeking voice-activated assistance.
Although Apple has been testing a desktop version of its virtual assistant since 2012, this year will mark the official debut of internal Siri integration. The familiar feature will be incorporated with OS V 10.12, which is expected to debut in June. Similar to Spotlight, Siri will hide in the Mac's menu bar. Simply clicking on the Siri icon will activate the voice controller, making it easy for users to issue commands as they would on an iPhone or iPad.
