The Silverwood House is a staggering home located north of Porto recently overhauled by architect Ernesto Pereira into a resort-like coastal haven.
The contemporary home became a project of Pereira after the owners met him while he was converting his own beachfront property into a home office. Pereira was given creative license over the project without any budget or time constrictions, and meticulously spent time getting to know the couple in order to design a unique home that reflected their routines and lifestyle.
The massive geometric structure boasts a timber facade against an angular white concrete base that makes it appear almost luminous from any angle. The Silverwood House is an extravagant example of the limitless possibilities when it comes to designing a home that is specific to the needs of the owner.
