Fortnite's Shark Week Skins Celebrate the Iconic TV Event
Justin Lam — July 24, 2018 — Tech
A new collection of Shark Week skins are set to appear as limited-edition items in the immensely popular vidoe game, Fortnite. These new Shark Week skins include the "Chomp Sr." outfit, "Chomp Jr. pickaxe" and a new emote called "On The Hook." The new items clearly take inspiration from the iconic great white shark, while the emote showcases the player character reeling in a fish and then showing it off with a smile on their face. All of the items are only cosmetic, meaning they will not affect gameplay, just like all the other items in the game.
Each of these items can be purchased using Fortnite's dedicated in-game currency, known as V-Bucks. Much like the other skins used in the game, these Shark Week skins will be used for bragging rights.
