The Semplice Lamp Takes a Flaring Form with an Illusory Transparent Base

If observed under the right conditions, the Semplice Lamp might look like it doesn't have any stand at all. The modern light fixture features a bold cap in either black or white that functions as a lampshade. Below this is a see-through glass cylinder with a slight outward flare that continues flush with the contours and the clean silhouette of the upper opaque portion.
Industrial Facility designed this contemporary table lamp for Oluce of Italy. Like many of the other pieces in the Oluce collection, this one embodies a simplified geometry with some formal flair. The lightbulb is tucked up into the top and out of sight, emitting a round beam of light below with its electrical cord dangling down.
