This Self-Powering Digital Frame Creates a Clean, Cable-Free Design

The creators of Acanvas aim to make the process of displaying photos even easier by making a self-powering digital frame.
The user can upload their photos from their phone onto the frame which ensures speed and efficiency. More notably, however, is the frame's capacity to charge itself. The self-powering digital frame actually releases a cable after about six hours when its battery starts to die. The cable lowers silently and "magnetically holsters itself in an unobtrusive cradle near the baseboard" which is connected to a wall outlet. This feature allows the digital frame to discreetly charge itself and then "yo-yo" its charging cable back up into the frame once charging is complete.
The digital frame was designed to remove the visibility of cables and wires that tend to ruin the 'effect' of designs.
