Sean Kenney is an artist who has spent the last decade designing and creating epic sculptures out of thousands of LEGO blocks. Previously the subject of a documentary for the PBS Off Book Series, Kenney has created a new exhibition titled 'Nature Connects' that expands on his work that recreates stunning natural beauty.
Currently on tour throughout North America until 2019, the 'Nature Connects' exhibit features deer and doe, a fox, a butterfly, a snake and a beautiful sculpture of a hummingbird feeding on a flower that is installed on the surface of a pond.
While LEGO enthusiasts have long made a habit of creating colorful brick representations of everything from seminal magazine covers to fan favorite fast food chains, this definitely raises the artistic standard.
