Sculptural glass bottles by acclaimed British designer Thomas Heatherwick celebrate Bombay Sapphire's iconic design and innovative craftsmanship. This limited-edition glassware collection includes hand-blown gin bottles and glasses, blending artistry with functionality. The ia an hourglass-shaped 'terrarium' bottle incorporating botanical elements used in Bombay Sapphire gin.
Marking a decade since Heatherwick Studio transformed Bombay Sapphire’s Hampshire distillery into a nature-inspired masterpiece, this collaboration mirrors the distillery’s signature glasshouses. The bottles, crafted in Bombay Sapphire’s signature blue hue, feature pleated detailing and cinched waists for a sculptural, organic aesthetic.
Heatherwick integrates nature directly into the largest bottles, each showcasing a botanical within a glass terrarium. This craftsmanship reflects his broader vision of connecting design with the natural world. These hand-blown pieces, created using electric kilns powered by renewable energy, merge sustainability with luxury.
The collection launches in select European bars in 2025, with the terrarium bottles displayed at Bombay Sapphire’s distillery -- a testament to timeless design and innovation.
