The Sbyke is a scooter-bike-skateboard hybrid that is perfect for kids who like to get around on wheels every which way. This contraption is essentially a rear-steering slaloming vehicle that was created by American brothers Bart and Steve Wilson. The vehicle has just been made available in the UK for the first time.
The Sbyke brings together the upright, forward-facing riding position of a scooter with the big front wheel and handlebars of a bicycle and the wooden board and rear trucks of a skateboard. This may sound like a bit much but the contraption appears to make sense when you give it a try, and it's actually more functional and less contrived than you might think.
The P20 version of the scooter-bike-skateboard is designed for ages eight and up, while the smaller p16 is designed for ages four to seven.
