Superhero and sci-fi characters are enjoying quite the limelight right now and for good reason. With Marvel releasing a who slew of new superhero characters and the latest Star Wars films set to be chock full of interesting sci-fi characters, it is only natural that people would be interested in putting their own spin on such a pervasive genre.
Enter photographer Sacha Goldberger and his recent series 'Super Flemish.' It rethinks traditional sci-fi characters such as Darth Vadar, The Hulk and more in order to place them in a different time period. Although undeniably themselves, their costumes have been altered to fit that of the Elizabethan era. Specifically, as Neatorama reports, "They're dressed and posed in the artistic styles of the Dutch Renaissance." No one will look at Batman the same again.
