The Sandwichbike is a flat-pack design that needs to be assembled almost like a sandwich, hence its name. Since shipping fully assembled bicycles can be incredibly expensive, the Sandwichbike is a more reasonable alternative that people can be even more proud of. Namely because they put the Sandwichbike together themselves.
Designed by the Pedalfactory and the Bleijh industrial design studio, the Sandwichbike is made out of two weather-coated frames of plywood. Once shipped, they are secured together by way of smart cylinders. At once rugged and good-looking, the Sandwichbike comes with everything a person would need to assemble it including tools and less than 50 parts.
Great for city cruising, the Sandwichbike will be available for purchase later this year. People will have to exercise their patience.
