The original version of Samsonite’s Hero suitcase was featured back in 2007 but has been reinvented once more.
The case, which was designed by avant-garde designer Alexander McQueen, resembles the human torso, with a rib cage and sternum relief on the front and vertebrae configuration in the rear. This iteration of the Hero suitcase is now available in silver.
If you are concerned that silver luggage is a recipe for a scratch-ridden disaster, the suitcase is painted with a thermoformable, impact-resistant paint developed by Bayer for the auto industry.
Following the trend in design to emulate textures and patterns found in nature, the AI2 case with its crocodile texture will also be available in the silver finish.
