The Sabertron sword is going to flip play fighting with swords on its head. By allowing the players to keep score of who gets hit, the toy seeks to get rid of the timeless debate that goes something like, "I hit you, you're dead," to a usual, "No you didn't! I'm still alive". This toy will bring the level of competition between budding swordsmen higher than it has ever been before.
Even if a child has no prior knowledge of medieval swordsmanship or modern fencing, they always manage to find out what sword fighting is. With sticks and rulers in hand, these young knights valiantly take on their peers.
Now these kids can get rid of the cheating spirit wrapped up in the pride that comes with needing to be the best fake swordsman there is around.
