With the latest instalment of Star Wars hitting theaters later this year, it's only natural that Saber Forge would be an incredibly successful venture. Endorsed on Kickstarter and already smashing its $100,000 goal by $249,009 with 18 days and counting, Saber Forge allows fans to design their own custom lightsaber, which would be the ultimate souvenir to bring to the premier of the movie.
Made up of Adaptive Saber Parts (ASP), the movie-quality lightsabers are made out of convincing materials that require no real experience to assemble. Saber Forge ensures that all fans are able to enjoy such a creation without breaking a sweat. My Modern Met reports, "In addition to the hilt, Saber Forge offers “plug and play” no-solder electronic kits. You can upgrade your handle to a dueling saber, light-up blade, or functional hero-level prop that’s complete with lights, motion detection, and sound."
