It can be hard sometimes to make an everyday accessory or necessity stand out from the crowd, but that is exactly what the RVS by V Iznik collection does for eyeglasses. Although adhering to rather classic and even iconic frame shapes, this designer line diverges from the well-trodden path by using pattens inspired by Ottoman quartz tiles.
Designed by Vidal Erkohen in collaboration with the Iznik Foundation, the RVS by V Iznik collection combines the heritage of vintage glasses with the contemporary touches of modern-day design. Hand-made in Istanbul, these eyeglasses also blend Ottoman's millennia-old, tile-making artform into the aesthetic of each creation. These vivid, vibrant frames hold an essence of Islamic culture thanks to this introduction.
The RVS by V Iznik collection is comprised of only 20 pieces of each seven sun and optical styles.
