British design studio Zaha Hadid Architects introduces a look at its new Ropax Ferry Terminal design. The space was once a shipping warehouse since the 60s located in Riga Latvia an is now transformed to be a station. Resting by the Daugava River, the large space measures 20,000 square meters and also functions as a port with a fourth floor added and topped by a large curved roof.
It accommodates various facilities for cruise ship and ferry passengers passing through. The studio speaks about the space, "The new Riga Ropax Terminal, planned for the southern part of Exportosta, will serve as one of the city's three transport hubs, while also providing high-quality civic, leisure, and commercial facilities."
