Belgium-based designer Pieter Peulen created this unique dorm room on wheels. The project is a single structure that contains all the basic necessities for a post-secondary student.
The metal-framed dorm room on wheels contains a bed, a desk, shelves, a mirror and a place to hang clothing. The unit, which is titled 'Flexit' is comprised of two different structures that have been fused together. The two frames can be disconnected and placed in different areas depending on size and shape of each room.
This designer was successful at creating a simplified dorm room that contains all the required elements of living on campus. The simple design meets the basic needs of an average student. These structures can be used by students or purchased by school housing units to ensure each student has a usable and livable space.
