It would be great if bars adopted seating solutions like the Room for Two Stool. This unique furnishing presents a way to save space, yet the means to assume more when it's required. Designed by Karthik Poduval, this transforming product can comfortably accommodate one or a pair of people.
Oak and ash woods are used to manufacture the extending benches, and there are drawer-like metal tracks integrated just beneath the seats. When it's in its most compact form, the top is made up of slats that touch; slide one set of legs away from the other, however, and the timber segments will separate. Despite the seat becoming visibly less substantial, the Room for Two Stool is capable of supporting the weight of a couple of people who are not afraid to get cozy.
