Ford has unveiled its 'Supervan 4.2,' a high-performance and intelligently modified electric van designed to tackle the challenges that will be presented at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, noted for being one of the world's oldest motor races.
This electric van is capable of achieving a horsepower of 1,400 for high speeds and the ability to handle tricky uphill climbs. Elsewhere, the aerodynamic features of the vehicle have undergone a veritable transformation that has led to the vehicle being able to generate nearly 2,000 kg of downforce at speeds of 241 km/h, enabling the vehicle to handle the turns and switchbacks that characterize the race.
This high-performance, race-ready electric van also features a rear wing for heightened performance, while regenerative braking allows for better utilization of battery capacity.
