If you hate hassling for restaurant reservations but love eating out at restaurants, a new app is the answer to your prayers. Resy allows users to to buy tickets for premium restaurant tables, then cut the line.
Resy is the result of a collaboration between entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk, CrowdTwist co-founder Mike Montero and Eater co-founder Ben Leventhal. By letting people pay for the table they want with this app, diners don't have to spend as much time making phone calls and booking weeks in advance at a popular restaurant hot spot.
The restaurant reservations app works similarly to tables reserved for VIPs. By paying a little extra, users can reserve premium tables and have their meal right away. Users can also cancel reservations through the app and receive a refund 24 hours beforehand.
