Swedish wrestler Ara Abrahamian threatened to quit wrestling after he threw his bronze medal before walking away from the presentation ceremony at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
Abrahamian was angry because he thought the judges didn’t make a fair decision, which his coach said was due to politics.
Abrahamian screamed at the judges, then went over to talk to them, and had to be restrained.
Abrahamian did not even want to play for the Bronze, but his teammates had pushed him to do it.
He lost to the Italian Andrea Minguzzi, who won the gold medal.
Is it me, or a lot of mishaps happening in this year’s Olympics?
