The Reflection Vase by Scott Franklin is Minimalist and Serene
Meghan Young — August 20, 2013 — Art & Design
There is something very zen about the Reflection Vase. Minimalist, clean and serene, it is definitely a design that would fit into a traditional pagoda beautifully. In a way, it looks like a modern twist on the Japanese rock garden. But instead of rocks, the Reflection Vase revolves around flowers. Three of them to be exact.
Designed by Scott Franklin, the Reflection Vase spreads out horizontally rather than rising vertically. The shallow basin of water creates a reflective surface that mirrors the flower stems protruding from the vase. As written on the gnr8.com, "The quietly playful, meditative effect is reminiscent of a lily in a pond, climbing out of the water." Every home could use one.
