Capcom and Reebok's Shaq Attaq Colorway Celebrates Street Fighter
The Reebok Shaq Attaq is NBA star Shaquille O’Neal’s signature shoe, and in celebration of the Street Fighter franchise’s 35th anniversary, Capcom has introduced a ‘Street Fighter’ colorway. The new colorway boasts ‘Black, ‘Dark Sable,’ and ‘Luxe Blue’ leather uppers with fabric tags along the sides. Reebok branding is kept to a minimum through the use of Shaq and vector logos, and “Street Fighter Champion Edition’ text on the air bladder system.
One of the most notable design features of the shoe is a tri-tone sole unit made with carbon fiber torsion plates. This provides the shoe with the additional grip and traction needed for everyday motion. In the upcoming weeks, Reebok and a handful of retailers will launch the Reebok Shaq Attaq in the Street Fighter iteration.
