Is it possible to take all of the plastic currently floating in the Pacific Ocean and turn it into a recycled plastic island? Netherlands-based Whim Architects sure seem to think so.
These creative architects envision an eco-friendly island the size of Hawaii, created out of recycled plastic. The recycled plastic island would also have seaweed cultivation as a food resource and homes made out of recycled plastic as well. While the idea is a little extraordinary, you can't help but applaud the architects for their good intentions as well as their colorful imagination.
