The RACE Robotics Lab in Singapore is a robot training facility with a design that befits such a futuristic description. The lab, which is a space for training robotics engineers as well as for showcasing the latest consumer and commercial products on offer from the company, is covered in a metallic sheen that would put it right at home as the set for a science fiction film.
'Ministry of Design,' the interior design and architecture studio behind the project, covered the RACE Robotics Lab in chromed aluminum tubes, and these parallel lines play out across the entirety of the space. The walls and ceilings protrude at odd angles, giving the entire space a crystalline effect, which is further accentuated by long fluorescent lamps embedded into the cladding.
