The PYGMY robot ring is understandably creepy and strangely cute at the same time. It is a googly-eyed accessory that happens to lazily blink in response to sound, touch and tech commands. It boasts technology that registers voice recognition, kinetic activity and remote controls in order to do so.
Developed by researchers at Keio University in Japan, the PYGMY robot ring is designed to help express emotion and enhance human interactions. Each ring is comprised of a miniaturized electronics pack that includes an Arduino processor, battery and Bluetooth module. Although this ring takes the form of an eyeball, it can easily be customized into any figure, design and configuration.
