Vogue USA’s March 2009 “Power Issue” paid homage to famed hairstylist Pierrick Le Verge and his extensive body of work within the fashion world.
Better known as Julien D’Ys, the stylist’s multi-colored, multi-layered and puffy hair pieces were featured in an editorial titled “Power Hair.” Below that title there is a small tagline that reads. “The Magic Maker.” This is, no doubt, a reference to the magnificent and “magical” abilities Julien D’Ys possesses as a hairstylist.
The models featured are Viktoriya Sasonkina, Coco Rocha, Karlie Kloss, Jourdan Dunn, and Raquel Zimmermann; the editorial was lensed by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz.
