This tiny prototype vehicle might seem inconvenient due to its fabric body, but the electric car was designed to navigate the busy city streets in Japan. From Japanese company Rimono, the small electric vehicle seats two passengers and is covered with a bright blue material, giving it a cheery esthetic.
At just 86 inches long, the concept automobile is somewhere between a car and scooter. The fabric body is a waterproof polyester cotton that is also used to make tarps. Suitable for two adults or an adult and two small children, the prototype vehicle features child-like knobs and round headlights that give the car an almost cartoonish appearance. To top off the battery pack-powered 6.8 horsepower electric motor, the auto has a handlebar to steer with.
