'Seiko,' the Japanese luxury timepiece manufacturer, has unveiled the 'Seiko Prospex Speedtimer Limited Edition Chronograph' to commemorate the 17th annual "World Athletics Championships." This watch features an automatic chronograph, which the brand has been perfecting for over 50 years.
The design of this timepiece combines the themes of the World Athletics Championship with the eloquent luxury elements that Seiko is famous for. The dial on the watch is all black with a special sand texture meant to replicate the appearance of a running track. Additionally, the edge of the dial near the bezel features a more gray, refined version of the sand texture.
The Seiko Prospex Speedtimer Limited Edition will be limited to 400 numbered pieces. The timepiece will release this summer in June for approximately $3,600 USD.
