If you worry about people peeking into your conversations or photos, the Blackphone is a privacy-focused smartphone perfect for you. A joint venture between Silent Circle and Geeksphone, the privacy-focused smartphone is powered by a "security-oriented" Android build called PrivatOS. It is carrier and vendor-independent, which allows the mobile user to be able to receive as well as make secure calls, video chats, text messages and transfer files.
Rumors indicate that it is going to be a "high-end" smartphone. Phil Zimmermann who created data encryption protocol PGP said that, "Blackphone provides users with everything they need to ensure privacy and control of their communications, along with all the other high-end smartphone features they have come to expect." The number one priority of the privacy-focused smartphone is protecting the mobile users' privacy.
Blackphone will be unleashed at the Mobile Word Congress in Barcelona on February 24.
