During Perth Design Week 2024, international architecture firm OMA works in collaboration with Italian furniture brand UniFor to create PRINCIPLES Square. This is located in the city's Cathedral Square and the installation is fully interactive for visitors. It is made to celebrate the relaunch of a home furniture capsule.
The PRINCIPLES Square adorns the outdoor space with a vibrant look whilst bringing attention to the central area. Philippe Braun, Associate. at OMA speaks about the design. He states, “Perth Design Week has offered us a platform to further experiment with the flexibility of PRINCIPLES. The range of public activities at PRINCIPLES Square and the public’s various ways of interacting with the furniture have stimulated us to further explore how the collection can be applied beyond the typical workplace.”
