There is something beautifully raw about these Praxis Guitars. It has to do with the fact that each instrument was made out of raw, recycled wood, giving these guitars a natural, organic aesthetic.
Put together by designer and creator Andrew Benson, these Praxis Guitars debuted during the Maker Faire 2011. Eco-friendly and modular, they come attached with parts that can be replaced easily. What that entails is something rather unique when it comes to guitars. The important bits can be removed and placed on something else, such as a book or another piece of wood, to create a whole new look and sound.
By turning discarded materials into musical instruments, these Praxis Guitars show that nothing is ever truly waste.
