Potted plants drastically improve the atmosphere of an office, and perhaps Pratonzolo by Stylemylife would have a similar effect. Though it's not exactly made of living organic matter, its grassy appearance atop a soft woody base is bound to bring a little outdoor delight to an otherwise lifeless desktop.
This particular object is the result of a collaboration between Matteo Mocchi and Max Battaglia and is set to be featured at Milan's Salone del Mobile 2011 design fair. A close look may reveal what is essentially an upturned brush with a dense blade-like bristles, offering a flexible bed for the placement of items like pens, pencils, cards and other office supplies. Pratonzolo by Stylemylife is a familiar object executed in a refreshing new way.
