This Porsche Panamera police car is proof that Europe and the Middle East don't have a stranglehold on luxury cop cars. This Porsche serves and protects the Australian community of Harbourside LAC, located near Sydney. The car itself was donated to the department by Porsche Cars Australia, so there's no need to worry about improper government spending.

If you're thinking, "there's no way a Porsche Panamera will be chasing criminals around Sydney," then you're thinking right. The Porsche Panamera police car was created more or less for promotional purposes and will shuttle between departments for publicity purposes. A surprising number of automakers have begun donating cars to police departments, including Aston Martin in the U.K. and Lamborghini in Italy. I'm sure the Detroit police would greatly appreciate a free Ford GT.
