Those familiar with the Atari Pong video game will get a kick out of the 'PONG PROJECT,' which sees the digital table tennis game transformed into an awesome furniture piece. Created by Daniel Perdomo, the 'PONG PROJECT' is a way for the designer to pay homage to the classic game.
Rather than being an actual video game, the 'PONG PROJECT' sees the Pong video game transformed into an air hockey-style pastime. The designer started the project about two years ago and looks to bring the awesomeness of pong back into the arcade.
The 'PONG PROJECT' is currently in the prototype phase, but could show immense promise for being a way for the Atari brand to reclaim some arcade floorspace with a retro throwback unit.
