There are many ways that a day can become suddenly ruined and losing the content of one's wallet is definitely one of them; the Ping Wallet hopes to curb that occurrence. The Ping Wallet is a credit card holder that uses Bluetooth technology to alert people when their credit card has either been forgotten, stolen or simply fallen out.
Designed by Alix Narcisse and Phillipe J. Jean, both of whom are based in Miami, Florida, the Ping Wallet is being touted as 'the world's thinnest, smartest wallet.' Able to fit into existing wallets, it is pretty compact. The Ping Wallet's smartness comes into play once it is connected to either the user's iPhone or Android device. When a credit card is recorded as lost, it emits a sound via an accompanying app.
