The 'Ping an International Finance Center' is currently being built in China, and once completed will be the highest structure in the country. However, this could change quickly considering the rate of growth seen in cities like Shanghai.
The interesting part about this design by Kohn Pedersen Fox is how fast the skyscraper will be built. The plan is for a new floor to be completed every four days, which in the construction world is an extremely speedy pace. As long as everything is still completed with care, this shouldn't be a problem.
The building is being built in Shenzhen, an area very close to Hong Kong, and is located in the business district of the city. Overall the structure will have over 100 floors for office space.
