The newly modified LC Magna system from Photocentric is significantly upgraded by way of the ‘LC Titan.’ The LC Titan is a 3D printer with a more considerable construction volume and a full LCD display despite having the same light output of 2MW per cm2 at 460nm as the other machines. The ‘LC Titan’ will arrive with high-performance integrated control software, a resin autofill system, and peel-release technology.
The brand has also unveiled its plans for Loctite and BASF Forward AM, which will be used to develop and validate engineering-grade resins and showcase dental parts made using plant-based materials.
“We are thrilled to be back at Formnext bringing our latest advancements on materials, hardware and control software to scale up additive manufacturing processes through automation and enable customers to run production parts in our 66,000 sqft digital factory,” Photocentric CEO Paul Holt was quoted at the event. “On display there will be an array of parts with textures and finishes that we manufacture using [our] combined technologies.”
