Philippe Malouin created a ‘Skid Row’ chair for Nextlevel Galerie in Paris and made some unusual design choices in the process.
The Philippe Malouin ‘Skid Row’ chair is made of shock cord and birch wood balls. The balls actually move when a person sits and then contours to your body. While sitting on wooden balls doesn’t sound like the most comfortable idea, there doesn’t seem to be anything ‘skid row’ about body-contouring chairs!
