Inspired by the gentle blooming flower, designer Matej Korytar’s petal lamp mimics the exact pose the floral leaf chooses to possess as it leans towards the rising sun.
In his minimalist design, Matej Korytar’s has only included two leaves for the petal lamp, a frosted sheet and an aluminum one. As the light bounces off the aluminum sheet piercing the frosted one, the light effectively disperses, spreading warmly around the room creating a soft ambient lighting. His integrity to the simplistic design is revealed in his color choice, a stark white piece so as to not distract viewers from the lamp itself. Because of its slim shape and design, this light fixture is not only great for larger living spaces but for smaller apartments where space is not in excess as well.
