Patricia Almeida may not be directly involved with the creation of the installation you’re currently looking at, but she did however snap photos of it to be shared with the world. Almeida explains that in Agueda , a town in Portugal, during the month of July, streets are often adorned with colorful parasols that are artfully hung and provide minor shade for pedestrians. The sight is quite surreal even in pictures, so I can only imagine how awesome it’d be to witness this bombardment of umbrellas firsthand.
