The Pantone and Sephora Pop-Up Shop Launched New Collaboration
Sarah Moore — April 3, 2012 — Marketing
The Pantone and Sephora Pop-Up Shop launched a new collaboration between the two companies by bringing the Pantone Color Guide to life.
Commissioned by Neverstop, the mobile color shop was housed in large scale rendition of the Pantone lookbook in the middle of busy streets in both Manhattan and Los Angeles. The shop stood 23 feet tall by 43 feet long and featured a fully operational mechanized door, which opened like a fan. This emulates the way that Pantone's Color Guide itself opens.
Products made in the company's color of the year, Tangerine Tango, as well as harmonized and complementary tones, were housed inside and a digital screen displayed a live twitter feed.
The Pantone and Sephora Pop-Up Shop combined both the spontaneous nature of an impromptu store with the comforts of a traditional cosmetics showroom to launch their new line in a larger than life way.
