Consumer electronics company Bowers & Wilkins has announced the launch of its first-ever Dolby Atmos soundbar dubbed the Panorama 3. The new ultra-premium soundbar arrives as a direct competitor to other high-end Atmos speakers such as the popular Sonos Arc.
However, what makes the Panorama 3 stand out is that it does not require an external subwoofer to deliver high-quality, cinematic sound. Instead, the unit comes with 13 drivers, including two built-in subwoofers, that can deliver 400 watts of amplification. In addition, the new soundbar will support Spotify Connect, AirPlay 2, Tidal, Qobuz, and more.
According to the company, the Panorama 3 was tuned by the same engineering team that built the loudspeakers at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London.
