It may be a daunting task to dream up the perfect cycle stand, but the P1 Bicycle Rack is another version which proves that the ideal design can take one of many different forms. Vim & Vigor conceived their sinuous steel model for the purpose of accommodating growing numbers of pushbikes on New York City streets. This project takes a streamlined form that will certainly serve to minimize sidewalk clutter.
A single thick metal pole is bent in five places to form what looks like a set of railings which can support one bicycle in between. Multiple bike locking points and two additional sides are optimized for fixing three separate two-wheelers to the P1 Bicycle Rack.
